Sardinia-Mowrystown Lions Club to co-sponsor Texas Hold'em Tournament on Saturday, Jan. 30

The Sardinia-Mowrystown Lions Club will co-sponsor a no-limit Texas Hold'em Tournament on Saturday, Jan. 30 at the Washington Township Park Building (formerly the Lions Park Club House) located at 7731 Tri-County Highway, Sardinia.

 

There will be three tournaments beginning at noon, 4 p.m.; and at 8 p.m. First place  for each tournament will be $1,000 based on 60 players per tournament.

 

Activities such as these allow the Lions to provide eye examinations and glasses for needy children in the Sardinia-Mopwrystown area. Contributions are also made to various Pilot Dog training groups so that trained "seeing eye" dogs are available to those requiring such service.
