Robert and Helen Wagner of New Martinsburg, near Greenfield, will celebrate their 50th anniversary July 1. The Wagners were married July 1, 1961 at the Centerfield Friends Church with the Rev. Frank Dunn presiding.
Robert, who was employed for 39 years at the US Shoe Corp. of Greenfield, enjoys fishing. Helen is a homemaker who enjoys baking cookies. They have two children, Lisa Wagner and Marilyn (Eric) Johnson, and four grandchildren, Benjamin, Holly, Heidi and Seth Johnson.
An open house celebration will be held at the Chapel of Hope C.L. Lewis Fellowship Hall, 12986 State Route 124 N., Greenfield on July 9 from 2-4 p.m. No gifts, but ladies are asked to bring a favorite cookie recipe and gentlemen are asked to bring a "true" fishing story.[[In-content Ad]]
