Pricetown Partners reports on meetings

The Pricetown Partners 4-H Club held a meeting on May 31 at Lynchburg-Clay High School starting at 7 p.m.

There were 11 members and two guests present.

Emma Setty and Johnny Lewis led the pledges.

Chicken orders are due on June 9 with $15. FCS Judging is on July 12. Dues are now past the turn-in date; they must be paid as soon as possible.

Tag-in day was June 4 for swine, goat, sheep, and feeder calves. The two car washes and bake sales are at Terry's on July 30 and Aug. 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All members must work. All members must also have a demonstration completed before the fair.

The club will have the Skillathon boards at the June 14 and Aug. 16 meetings. Brianna and Serenna Hammond did a demonstration on how to care for a pet ferret.

The next meeting will be on June 14 at the Lynchburg-Clay High School, starting at 7 p.m.

There were 11 members and six guests present.

Pledges were led by Jared Brinson and Noah Rowley. Chicken order forms are now available and are due June 2. Turkeys need to have a blood test by the end of June to be able to show at the fair.

Tag-in day for goat, sheep, and feeder calves was June 4. Rabbits needed to be bred for Doe & Litter by May 31.

The car wash dates have been released: July 30 and Aug. 13, both at Terry's Pizza.

4-H Camp forms are now available for everyone. There was one demonstration at the meeting: Kara Williams did a demonstration on the history of bows.
