Pricetown Partners 4-H Club reports

The Pricetown Partners 4-H Club held a meeting on May 25 at the Lynchburg Clay High School from 7-8 p.m. There were 22 members and eight guests present.
    Ty Setty, Claire Magee, and Johnny Lewis led the pledges. Courtney Tenas (Secretary) and Clair Magee (Treasurer) had Officer Reports.
    Anybody who has not paid their book or candy dues needs to get them paid as soon as possible. You also need to have your animals in your possession by June 1. Poultry order forms are due on the first, as well.
    The Consumer and Family Science Judging will be held at the Southern State Community College on July 1. Entry Day is on July 23 from noon-6 p.m. at the Highland County Fairgrounds.
    July 29 is the Chicken Pickup, also at the Fairgrounds. June 5 was Tag In Day at the Fairgrounds, from 8-10 a.m. The Pricetown Partners Carwash/Bake Sale will be on July 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The location has yet to be decided.     
    Demonstrations will start next meeting. Note that all members must complete a demo.
    The Highland County Help Me Grow Petting Zoo is on June 16. The Extension Office is asking 4-H members to bring their small animals.
    The next meeting will be held on June 15, same place, same time.[[In-content Ad]]
