Premier Showmen meet at Five Points Implement
Lead Summary

By
Kaylee Achor-
On Sunday, March 13, Premier Showmen held their meeting at Five Points Implement.
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Abby, and Ty led us in the 4-H Pledge. The meeting was started with a "get to know you" game. The 4-H members had to take 1-5 squares of toilet paper, and after everyone received their squares, they had to tell that many facts about themselves.
In our old business, we reviewed the Vice President's report, the secretary's report and the treasurer's report. Sammy presented a safety report on ways to stay safe around animals, and then Ty presented a health report, "How much exercise do we need?"
For our member activity report, Jacob attended a chicken show in Wapakoneta and placed first. We discussed our club packets, club dues, books, and the candy bar sales. There have been changes to the beef and sheep resource books, and they were available after the meeting.
In our new business, we talked about the Office and Advisor Conference on Monday, March 21 at Southern State from 6:30-8:30 p.m. We were given dates for the Quality Assurance. We reminded our members of the Junior Leadership meeting on March 31 at 6 p.m.
Charity Fetters and Octavia Smith will represent our club in the Pork Queen contest, while Becca and Taryn will represent our club in the Beef Queen contest.
We went over our constitution and by-laws and then voted on them.
Premier Showmen would like to thank the Five Points Implement for the use of their facility so we could hold our meeting. Courtney motioned to end the meeting, and then Kaylee seconded the motion.[[In-content Ad]]
