Ohio State Fair market session report

The Ohio State Fair market show was an outstanding success for several exhibitors who represented their families and programs with hard work and dedication. The market session featured impressive cattle, strong competition, and several major accomplishments. 

Blake Osborn had an exceptional day in the show ring, earning Grand Champion Prospect Steer. This was a tremendous accomplishment and a reflection of the quality of his steer, as well as the time and effort Blake put into preparing for the Ohio State Fair. 

Dwight Hamilton also had an outstanding performance, placing third overall Prospect Steer. Dwight’s accomplishment was made even more special when he was named the 2026 Outstanding Market Exhibitor. This award recognizes the dedication, knowledge, and effort that Dwight demonstrated throughout his market livestock experience.     

Another highlight was Wyatt Osborn, who was awarded two scholarships. Receiving scholarships at the Ohio State Fair is a great honor and recognizes Wyatt’s accomplishments, dedication, and involvement in agriculture. 

Overall, the Ohio State Fair market session was a memorable one for Blake Osborn, Dwight Hamilton, and Wyatt Osborn. From a Grand Champion Prospect Steer to a third-place overall finish, the Outstanding Market Exhibitor award, and two scholarships, these achievements demonstrate the hard work and commitment of the exhibitors.
