New Petersburg Social Civic Club holds June meeting

The June meeting of the New Petersburg Social Civic Club met at Fall Creek Friends Church with hostess Malinda Wells.

Vice president Verla Hodson opened the meeting. Twelve members answered roll call by wearing everything one color.

Minutes of the last meeting were read by Secretary Cora Hamilton. Patty Detty and Vicki Duff gave the program.

Detty read "Two Little Boys" and Duff read "A Farm Girl's Home," "Farm Living" and "New Petersburg is marking birthday, 150 years."

The contest by Wanda Green was won by Hodson.

Birthday raffles were brought by Glenna Ross and Patty Detty and won by Ruth Ann Watts and Bea Mustard.

Members receiving secret sister gifts were Detty, Marion Dodds, Margaret Crabtree, Debbie Ellison, Hodson, Green, Debbie Robinson, Phyllis Miller and Cora Hamilton. The hostess gift was won by Detty.

Members present, along with those mentioned above, were Chris Tolbert and Anna Lou Lucas.
