New Directions volunteers ‘begging for food’ during Beggars Night

On Thursday, Oct. 26 from 6-8 p.m., during Greenfield’s trick-or-treat night, students and adult volunteers from New Directions Youth Ministry of Greenfield will be going door to door collecting canned goods and other non-perishable items for the Greenfield Area Christian Center.
Helpful food items include canned soup, canned fruit, canned vegetables, boxes of cereal, macaroni and cheese, spaghetti sauce and spaghetti.

Because of the generosity of local residents, the youth from New Directions have collected hundreds of items every year that they deliver and stock on the shelves at the food pantry.
