Loft holds talent show

The Loft, the Good News Gathering-sponsored hangout for area teens in grades sixth through 12, held a talent show April 15. Located at 123 1/2 West Main Street in Hillsboro, approximately 70 area students turned out to hear 12 different acts perform songs, play instruments, dance, and perform magic. 
 The panel of impartial judges chose Sim Jones, a freshman at Fairfield High School, and Logan Brightman, an eighth-grader at Hillsboro Middle School, and their rendition of "Ice, Ice Baby."
