Troop 8736 from Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland hosted a community clean-up on Saturday, Oct. 7.

Members from Troop 8736 and Troop 8734 began at 1 p.m. cleaning up the Imaginary Kingdom playground. While they were cleaning the playground, they inspired a few kids from the neighborhood to help them pick up litter.

The children and troop volunteers then proceeded to walk around the entire Greenfield McClain High School picking up litter. They also walked through the areas surrounded by Greenfield schools and picked up litter.

These children are the future of our town and took pride in cleaning it up. The Girl Scout troops would like to thank the children who helped them pick up litter and make the town cleaner.
