Limer named state AMVETS Auxiliary president

Sonja Limer of Ashville was recently elected president of the state of Ohio AMVETS Auxiliary.

Limer became a life member of AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary #22, Vermilion, in November 1996. She held numerous offices and chairmanships on the local level, as well as two terms as auxiliary president. At the conclusion of each of her teams as president, Auxiliary #22 was the recipient of the Gavaliers Award of the most outstanding auxiliary in the Department of Ohio.

As state president, Limer will preside over AMVETS Auxiliaries across the state, including Highland and Ross Counties.[[In-content Ad]]
