Last call for CAMP

A few spaces are still available for the Aug. 7-13 annual C.A.M.P., which is held at the Tar Hollow Resident Camping area in the Hocking Hills.

This is the 56th such summer program, which was originated in 1956 by Dave and Janny Brizius.

A camping program for youths in grades 6 through recent high school grads, a junior high and a senior high program operate simultaneously during the week, featuring more than 20 different motivational programs.

Campers may choose to participate in sports of many kinds, band, choir, art, drama, photography, nature, hiking, journalism, and much more.

CAMP stands for Constructing Assured and Motivated People, and each year the entire staff (coming from across the U.S. and beyond) returns on a voluntary basis, indeed attesting that the camp did in fact do just that in their lives, and so they return to perpetuate the phenomenon in the lives of new young people!

It is because of this volunteer staff that the magnificent program can be offered for just $215 (all inclusive )for the entire week! There is not much time left to check out this program for your youngsters. Visit www.sfacamp.org for complete information and to register your campers.

Also, feel free to call Dave and Janny, founding directors, who are still much involved with this program they created so long ago, at (937) 365-1388.[[In-content Ad]]
