KFC donates $500 to Highland County Senior Citizen Center

Kentucky Fried Chicken in Hillsboro and Highland County Senior Citizen Center recently teamed up to hold a community fundraising night on Oct. 12 to help raise monies for the Senior Center.
Guests were given flyers to bring in and give to the cashier, which in turn allowed KFC to donate $500 of the evening’s proceeds to the Senior Center. The monies will be assist in the daily operations of the center.

“Our mission at the center is to provide persons age 50 and over with opportunities and activities designed to help them remain active and involved in the community,” Senior Center General Manger Mechell Frost said. “The center will advocate for the needs, issues and concerns of older adults and represent their interest in the community, the state and the nation.”
