Jr. Fair Queen Contest to be held Sept. 4 | The Highland County Press

This year's Highland County Jr. Fair Queen Contest will be held Sept. 4, 2010 prior to the start of the Highland County Fair. Any girl who is a member of a Jr. Fair organization, age 15-19, may apply. Complete rules are on the application. Contestants will be judged on achievement, personality, appearance, and poise, and must present a 3-5 minute oral presentation on the Jr. Fair theme "Sew it! Grow it! Show it!"

Applications may be picked up at the extension office, 119 Governor Foraker Place. All applications are due to be returned to Jean Fawley by the deadline of Friday, Aug. 20, 2010. No late applications will be accepted. For further information, call Jean Fawley at 393-3081.
