Heartland looking for chili contest judges

Heartland of Hillsboro is recruiting judges for their 8th Annual Chili Challenge, set for Wednesday, Feb. 29 at 2 p.m.

The contest includes two categories, mild and hot. A winner and second runner-up will be picked in each category. The first-place winning recipes will be prepared for all to sample at a Chili Supper and Silent Auction to be held at the Old Ponderosa Banquet Center March 8. All proceeds will benefit the Highland County Society for Adults and Children.
