“Caring. Close to Home” is a fitting tagline for Highland District Hospital. It seems just as fitting for a 17 year volunteer who just chalked up 4,000 volunteer hours. Shirley Conley is a volunteer who has been committed to the mission of caring through her service to HDH as a volunteer.
Shirley was employed as a secretary by Western Southern Life. She and her husband Bill have been married for 57 years, and have lived in Hillsboro for 50 years. She currently volunteers at the Information desk, greeting people, and escorting them to various departments. She says that she wanted to work with the public after her retirement, and enjoys helping people. Shirley’s willingness to serve is invaluable to Highland District Hospital, and the lives she touches through volunteering.
Congratulations to Shirley Conley, we’re proud she is on the HDH team.[[In-content Ad]]
