Hams to hold annual holiday dinner

The Highland Amateur Radio Association will hold its annual Christmas dinner on Friday evening, Dec. 7 in the basement meeting room of the Highland County Administration Building. The catered meal will be served at 6 p.m. The cost is $7.50 per person.
Following the meal, acting president Lee Bishop will announce the results of the recent election of officers and trustees for 2013 and review the association's many activities during 2012. A gift exchange and drawing for door prizes will also take place.
Anyone with an interest in radio communications, ham radio, citizens band, scanner monitoring, broadcast DXing or experimentation is invited to attend.
