Fur, Feathers, & Friends 4-H Club elects 2026 officers

On Feb. 23, the Fur, Feathers, & Friends 4-H Club elected their 2026 officers.

Gage Thompson will be serving as the new president. Gage is a senior at Lynchburg-Clay High School. 

He is accompanied by his vice president, Kylie Mitchell, who is a sophomore at Whiteoak High School. 

Aubrey Swafford was elected secretary, while Abby Anderson serves as the club treasurer. Aubrey is also a sophomore at Whiteoak High School and Abby is a freshman at Hillsboro High School. 

Addison Roades, an 8th-grader at Whiteoak Jr. High, will be working as the news reporter. 

Congratulations to the newly elected officers.
