Flannery receives award from CWU

The Highland County unit of Church Women United honored Gloria Rae Flannery with the Valiant Woman Award on Saturday, May 7.

Flannery grew up in Dayton and graduated from Heidelberg College with a major in business education. She was a business education high school teacher for 25 years.

Flannery has two children, Kristi and Jeffery and five grandchildren. She is a member of the Marshall United Methodist Church, where she is treasurer, Sunday school teacher and program resources for her church. She is also very active in her community and is in ecumenical development for Church Women United.[[In-content Ad]]
