The Driving Authority celebrates with ribbon cutting

The Highland County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting for The Driving Authority on July 24 to celebrate their official grand opening. The Driving Authority is owned and operated by James and April Flowers and is located west of Hillsboro at 5671 U.S. 50, Hillsboro. The Driving Authority offers driver’s education service, with behind-the-wheel lessons and online classes.

The Driving Authority, located west of Hillsboro, celebrated their grand opening with a ribbon cutting from the Highland County Chamber of Commerce, along with family, friends, and members of the community on July 24, 2026. The Driving Authority is owned and operated by James and April Flowers and is located at 5671 U.S. 50, Hillsboro.
 
The idea for The Driving Authority came from a desire to provide high-quality, student-centered driver education within the community. It focuses on personalized instruction, flexible scheduling, and outstanding customer service that aims to help the student pass their driving test while equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to become safe, responsible drivers for life. The Driving Authority offers Driver's Education Services that include behind-the-wheel lessons and online classes.
 
James Flowers expresses his gratitude. “First and foremost, thank you to my wife and family. Your unwavering support, encouragement, and countless sacrifices have made this dream possible.
