Have you ever wanted to discover your heritage?

Southern State Community College Central campus will be hosting a hands-on, three-part Genealogy workshop. The session will be held on Tuesday evenings, November 1, November 15 and November 29, 6-8 p.m. in the college library at the Central Campus, 100 Hobart Drive, Hillsboro.

Southern State Community College Learning Resources Center has partnered with the Southern Ohio Genealogical Society to offer this workshop series.

The workshop is designed to help individuals learn how to trace their family genealogy. Participants will also learn how to effectively utilize Ancestry Library edition, and the SOGS genealogy research section which is located in the Central Campus LRC. SOGS volunteers will be on hand to assist and instruct participants, one-on-one, in their beginning research.

The workshop is open to the general public free of charge.
