They were married in Hillsboro on Oct. 7, 1951, at the Church of Christ.
They moved back to the area in 1976, when Dane and his brother, Walt, purchased Lyndon Milling at an auction.
That business has become Garman Feed & Supply.
Dane and Jewell Garman have two sons, Mike and Greg (Robin); three grandsons, Bryce (Sarah), Cale (Leslie), and a great-granddaughter, Isabell; and Adam (Amy).
They are members of South Salem Methoidist Church and Buckskin Valley Farm Bureau.
Both still enjoy family activities and hanging around the feedmill, just to see what is going on![[In-content Ad]]
