Bob and Phyllis Abbott celebrate 50th anniversary

On Sept. 3, Bob and Phyllis Abbott will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.

The couple were married on Sept. 2, 1961.

An informal reception will be hosted by their daughter, Debbie Abbott Carmean, and sister of the bride, Gail Chlopik, at 11505 Underground Road in Leesburg from 1-4 p.m. Cake and light refreshments will be served.
