Batterson honored for 10,000 volunteer hours at Highland District Hospital

     “Caring. Close to Home” is a fitting tagline for Highland District Hospital. It seems just as fitting for a seven-year volunteer who just chalked up 10,000 volunteer hours.
     Judy Batterson is a volunteer who has been committed to the mission of caring through her service to HDH as a volunteer.
     Judy currently volunteers in the Emergency Department, greeting people and escorting them to various departments and maintaining supplies. The staff describes her as dedicated, caring, and helpful. Judy’s willingness to serve is invaluable to Highland District Hospital, and the lives she touches through volunteering.
     Congratulations to Judy Batterson, we’re proud she is on the HDH team.
