Altrusa of Highland County book sale Sept. 5

Altrusa of Highland County will be having their monthly book sale on Saturday, Sept. 5 from 9 a.m.-noon at the Rent-2-Own shopping center, located at 1268 N. High Street in Hillsboro.  

During this book sale, teachers can get 25 free books for their classrooms. Teachers must show their ID for this promotion. This is a great opportunity to build classroom libraries. Homeschool students may each choose five free books.
 
Promoting literacy in our communities is one of the big goals for Altrusa and this project as well as many others support this goal. 

Altrusa encourages teachers to take advantage of this book giveaway and look forward to meeting with everyone who attends the book sale in September.
