2nd annual Memorial Day Weekend a cappella set for May 28

The second annual Memorial Day weekend a cappella gospel singing and prayer service is set to begin at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 28. Sponsored by the Sunnyside Church of Christ in Hillsboro, the event is open to everyone in the community who enjoys singing praises to the Lord.

The a cappella singing will take place at the Highland County Fairgrounds at no cost. There will be no collections taken up. The first a cappella singing was a big success and enjoyed by more than 120 singers. Song leaders are especially encouraged to attend and welcome to lead any song of their choice.

Singers will be asked to sit in their preferred section, soprano, II soprano, tenor or bass.
