SHAC boys golf tournament wraps up with North Adams winning team, individual titles

The 2023 SHAC boys golf tournament was held for four days, with the final team total champions being the North Adams Green Devils with a total score of 664.

The SHAC event saw West Union in second place (685), followed by Eastern (704), Manchester (725), Lynchburg-Clay (747), Fairfield (760), Whiteoak (799) and Peebles (830), and Ripley had no final score.

The SHAC individual champion was Breestin Schweickart of North Adams with a score of 158 in four days.  

Earning All-SHAC honors from Highland County were Saxen Wilkin of LCHS, who tied for 10th place with a score of 173, and Fairfield’s Brody Fauber, who was 13th with a score of 174.

Fairfield’s final scorers also included (four days combined): Otis Cockerill (191), Hayden Cruise (200), Blaine Fauber (210) and Titon Crowder (218).

Lynchburg-Clay scores also included (four days combined): Braedon West (180), Cole Wells (198), Cody Bell (199) and Austin Bell (202).

For Whiteoak, scores were: Eli Roberts (197), Isaiah Rowe (199) and Kaden Moon-Stone (202). Other WHS players competing in the four days were: Christian Hite, Zander Roades, Caden Butler and Jake Kiley.
