Kristi Noem, scapegoat

Other than Kristi letting things go to her head and spending a pile of money making some television commercials about deportation starring herself, I can find little to fault Kristi Noem. I watched the congressional committee meeting where she was shredded alive by Congress people. My reaction was to give her points for standing up to them.
I would rather see them go after real enemies of our country, not a patriot like Ms. Noem. To me, she wasn’t too far from being a reincarnation of John Wayne. All she was missing was the sidearms.
As for the story about her shooting the family dog, it wasn’t that long ago that this was the normal way you got rid of a dog that was old or had become a problem. Think of “Old Yeller” or “To Kill a Mockingbird.” In both of these, rabid dogs are shot.
And if she had an affair with Corey Lewandowski, although I don’t approve, Noem would not be the first politician to have done so.
I digress.
As far as what went on in Minneapolis, I don’t know why ICE pulled out. I don’t think they were done with their job. I don’t blame Noem for the problems there, I blame the silly governor and the mayor.
Ms. Noem had an impressive political career for the past 20 or so years. What she let happen was not attacking her enemies soon enough, starting in Minneapolis.
Minneapolis has been politicized, just like the Virginia legislature this week politicized Jan. 6. Both houses of the Virginia legislature passed House Bill 333 and sent it to the governor for signing.
House Bill 333 sets rules for instruction about Jan. 6 in Virginia public schools:
Schools cannot describe Jan. 6th as a “peaceful protest.”
Schools cannot teach that widespread election fraud changed the 2020 election results.
If schools teach the topic, instruction must describe it as a violent attack on U.S. democratic institutions aimed at overturning the election.
Can’t wait for Minnesota to enshrine what they think must be said about the ICE actions in Minneapolis.
I stand with Kristi Noem.

MoH recipients Jason Dunham (KIA), Dakota Meyer, and Kyle Carpenter: the only Marine MoH recipients since Vietnam. Read their stories, or better yet, watch every podcast you can when Dakota and Kyle are interviewed. And watch Jocko Willink's interview with Jason Dunham's fellow Marines. That one will bring tears. Then as much as Dakota is rough and gruff, and he has a lot of "baggage" and he carries burdens that I will never know, about the worst day of his life. Then on the other side of the spectrum, Kyle Carpenter is the boy next door who did his duty without hesitation. These 3 men were in their early 20's when they unselfishly gave everything for their Country. They are the total opposite of the "entitled" Dem Squad politicians. Never forget that.
Double standard???
We have been told for the past 50 plus years to celebrate and respect the involvement of women in many more avenues of employment, responsibilities, and hopefully discerning political power. Especially when they have broken "the glass ceiling" in business, clean entertainment, news mediums, and politics. Well..... Except conservative women..... Like Condoleezza Rice (check out the political cartoons about her, That means you TX Democrat Rep. Al Green... with your stupid cane and old-man pony tail). As for me, I respect foster Mom from Minnesota Michelle Bachman, Kristi Noem (who absolutely loves her Country and the State of South Dakota), and the actress and MMA fighter Gina Carano, Danica McKellar ("Winnie Cooper from Wonder Years and she's a Hallmark Christmas movie staple.), and Candice Bure (nee Cameron, from the Full House sit-com fame): those two ladies are my contemporaries, and I am proud of them and their platform.

Patrick Henry is rolling over in his grave. The Virginia schools should teach about him, instead. And also teach factual information on Chesty Puller, Stonewall Jackson, and Oliver North.
