Terry L. Williams

Terry L. Williams, 63, of Hillsboro, passed away peacefully on Monday, Sept. 7, 2026, at Highland District Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on March 4, 1963 in Hillsboro, the daughter of the late Richard and Virginia (Davis) Williams.

Terry was a 1981 graduate of Whiteoak High School, where her favorite class was art. In her earlier years, she attended Marshall Church of Christ. Terry was very proud of her years working at Highco and the friendships and memories she made there.

Terry enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. She loved birdwatching, doing word searches, and was a true master of jigsaw puzzles. She was also an avid Elvis fan and enjoyed his music. One of her favorite roles at family gatherings was being the family photographer. She loved capturing special moments and making sure those memories would be treasured for years to come.

Terry had an amazing memory and a special gift for remembering birthdays. She could recall the birth dates of family members, teachers from her school years, and even Hollywood stars. This was just one of the many things that made Terry special and brought a smile to those around her.

Most of all, Terry loved her family. She cherished spending time with them and shared an especially close and loving bond with her twin brother. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends who will forever treasure the memories of her kind heart, her unique personality, and the simple joys she found in everyday life.

Terry leaves behind a lifetime of memories, many of them captured through the lens of her camera, and a loving family who will carry those memories in their hearts forever.

Terry is survived by her four siblings, Jim (Judy) Williams, Bob (Teresa) Williams, Linda (Roy) Bellamy, her twin brother, Jerry (Mindi) Williams; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Sharon Kay (Clayton) Webb.

Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Funeral services will take place at 1:00 p.m. following visitation at the funeral home on Saturday and burial will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery. Bob Cockrell will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
