Ruth Ann Del Rosa, 84, of Mentor, passed away Monday, Dec. 26, 2022.
She was born in Hillsboro on Feb. 1, 1938, to the late Mack and Ida Wilson (nee Smith).
She was a proud and loving wife, mother, grandmother who will be greatly missed by many. Ann graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1956. She then worked for Ohio Bell as a telephone operator from 1956-58. She went on to graduated form Miami of Ohio in 1960 with a BS in business administration. Ann then worked for Proctor and Gamble in sales from 1960-65.
In 1965, she married the love of her life, Bob Del Rosa. They were married for 46 years. She went on to dedicate 22 years in the registrar’s office at CWRU while working in real estate for Century 21 for 10 years. In her free time, she enjoyed pencil drawing and reading genres of crime, suspense and politics.
Ann is survived by son, Jim (Kim) Del Rosa; daughter-in-law, Denise Del Rosa; grandson, Cameron; granddaughter, Adrianna. Ann is also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Del Rosa; her son, Scott Del Rosa; her brother, James; and a sister, Jean.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29 at Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake. Services will be 11a.m. Friday, Dec. 30 at the funeral home.
Ann will be laid to rest privately at Mentor Cemetery.
