Rosalinda Mendoza, 18, of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022 as the result of an auto accident in Clinton County.
She was born Aug. 19, 2004 in Wilmington, the daughter of Martin Mendoza and Amanda Jackson Mendoza.
Rosalinda was a senior at Clinton-Massie High School, where she was a part of the photography class and was a blood donor. Rosalinda also was an employee at the Spillway Lodge.
Surviving are her parents, Martin and Amanda Jackson Mendoza; brother, Joey (Chey) Smalley; nephews, Jackson and Mason; grandfather, David William Jackson; grandmother, Adela Jimenez Santos; aunt, Angie Jackson; aunt and uncle, Melissa and Duston Donaldson; aunt, Rita Garrison; and cousins, Caleb and Kara Donaldson, Brittany Marie (Alex Barbeau) Donaldson, Dakota and Brittany Jackson, Timothy (Olivia) Shafer and their son Kayson.
Rosalinda was preceded in death by her grandmother, Rosemary Jackson.
A celebration of Rosalinda's life will be held Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022 at 5 p.m. at the Clinton-Massie High School Auditorium with Tom Donaldson speaking.
A gathering of friends and family will take place Saturday from 2-5 p.m. at the auditorium.
The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington is assisting the family.
