Ronald Allen Knisley, 72, of Greenfield, passed away Monday, March 9, 2026 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.
 
He was born on May 29, 1953 in Greenfield, the son of Pearl “Pete” and Allie (Everhart) Knisley.
 
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and went into the U.S. Air Force Reserves and served in Desert Storm.
 
He is survived by his wife, Pamela S. (Phillips) Knisley whom he married on March 7, 1975; one son, Jeremy (Julie) Knisley of Greenfield; three grandsons, Talon, Kage and Raiden; two sisters, Helen Pennington and Sharon Knisley-Lewis; and several nieces and nephews.
 
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Steve, Jimmy and David Knisley; two sisters, Linda Schrader and Diana Anderson; and both parents.
 
Private burial will be at the convenience of the family in the Good Hope Cemetery with military rites provided by the Concerned Veterans of Greenfield.
 
The Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield is serving the family.
