Robert L. "Bob" Emery, 71, of Sugartree Ridge, passed away on Friday, Aug. 1, 2025 at Acute Care of Hillsboro.  
 
He was born Feb. 10, 1954 in Hillsboro, the son of the late Floyd Aldon and Carolyn (Burton) Emery.

Bob was a graduate of Whiteoak High School in the class of 1972 and was a member of Sugartree Ridge Church of Christ.
 
Surviving are his six siblings, Richard (Karen) Emery of Hillsboro, Chuck Emery of Sugartree Ridge, Connie (Jim) Miller of Georgetown, Ind., Becky (Dan) Lucas of Sugartree Ridge, Cindy (John) Gorman of Sugartree Ridge, and Greg Emery of Dayton; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
 
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, David Emery; and a sister, Sandra Emery Heaton.
 
Funeral services will be held at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, 138 E. Main St. Hillsboro, Wednesday, Aug. 6 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Danny Dodds officiating.  Interment will follow in the Sugartree Ridge Cemetery, Sugartree Ridge.
 
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the services.
