Paul E. Gould, 88, of Sardinia, passed away Monday, Sept. 5, 2022 at Hospice of Dayton.  
 
He was born April 13, 1934 in Georgetown, the son of the late Homer Richard and Willa Pearl (Pollitt) Gould.

On July 25, 1954, he married Barbara Ann Jones, who passed away Feb. 2, 2022.
 
Paul was a United States Air Force veteran and a member of the Ripley American Legion Post 367 and the Sardinia Lodge #254 F & AM. He retired from Lodge and Shipley after 34 years and then started Gould Enterprises with his wife and son David. Paul was an aviation enthusiast and a pilot. He enjoyed restoring Aeronca Aircraft. He also enjoyed trap shooting and gardening.
 
Surviving are his five children, Mark Gould of Longmont, Colo.,  Philip Gould of Sardinia, Ken (Ellen) Gould of Dayton, Paula (Robert) Kiser of Hillsboro and David (Nicole) Gould of Sardinia; 10 grandchildren, Jeremy (Amy) Gould, Hannah Joyce, Andrew (Kiki) Gould, Sophie Sweaney, Rachel (Caleb) Bohrer, Kristina Gould, Rebecca (Preston) Menchaca, Skylar Gould, Madison Gould and Hunter Gould; five great-grandchildren, Austin Remington Bohrer, Demi Grace Gould, Ryleann Hope Bohrer, Vivian Rose Sweaney and William Jason Sweaney; a sister, Betty Green of Indiana; and a sister-in-law, Margaret (Price) Tuley of Alabama.
 
In addition to his parents and wife, Paul was preceded in death by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John D. and MaryLou Jones and Miars and Edith Jones, and a brother-in-law, Ray Green.
 
A celebration of life for Paul and Barbara will be held Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Edgington Funeral Home, 17 E. Main St. Mowrystown with Brother Rand Little officiating. The Highland County Honor Guard will accord military honors.
 
Friends will be received Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
