Michael Lee Lowman, 37, of Waverly, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Oct. 17, 2022 at Adena Pike Medical Center in Waverly.
He was born Dec. 22, 1984 in Portsmouth, the son of Michael and Melissa (Knisley) Lowman.
He was a 2004 graduate of Western High School. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunter and fisherman and loved hunting mushrooms, ginseng and deer sheds. When he wasn’t in the woods, he loved cooking and spending time with his boys and girlfriend.
Along with his parents, he is survived by four sons, Kadin Lowman, Zander Lowman, Ryder Lane and Ryker Levi; his fiancée, Christen Richards; one brother, Steven Lowman of Peebles; one sister, Stephanie (Jacob) Keesee of Latham; nieces, Allison, Carlie, Ava and Paiton; nephews, Jonny, Hunter, Connor and Dominic; several aunts and uncles; and grandparents, Dallas and Earlene Knisley of Latham and Wanda and Larry Boydston of Bainbridge.
He was preceded in death by his baby sister, Mykaila Mae Lowman; grandpa, William “Bill” Lowman; and great-grandparents, Earl Short and Eula Bell, Virgil and Betty Lowman and Daryl and Mae Tong.
Funeral service will be Friday, Oct. 21 at 4 p.m. at Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Mike Whitley officiating. Cremation will follow.
Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home.
