Michael Alan Goen Jr., 56, of New Vienna, passed away peacefully Sept. 22, 2022 at his home with family by his side.
He was born July 3, 1966, the son of Rebecca (Knisley) and Randall Newsome, who survive, and Mike Sr. and Judy (Davis) Goen, who preceded him in death.
Michael loved riding his motorcycle; he called it his “Wind Therapy.” His mother says, “My son, may your last ride go beyond the clouds and stars, to Heaven’s Gate. Always and forever in my heart.”
Besides his parents, Michael is survived by his loving wife, Tammy (Fouse) Goen; daughter, Brittany Scott; son, Montana Goen; three grandchildren, Octavia Goen, Desmond Grooms and Gianna Goen; sister, Asheley (Daniel) Corey; brothers, Ty (Anna) Goen and Brandon (Amy) Goen; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and many good friends, all of whom will miss him.
According to his wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no public services.
The family asks that memorial contributions in Michael's name be directed to Hospice of Fayette County, 222 N. Oakland Street, Washington C.H., Ohio 43160.
