Margie Lou (Keplinger) Orinin
Margie Lou (Keplinger) Orinin, 99, of Washington Court House, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025 at Court House Manor in Washington C.H with her family at her side.
She was born Dec. 2, 1925 in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Dr. Roy R. and Anna (Furhop) Keplinger.
Margie graduated from high school in Chicago, Ill. and attended Lawrence University. She was a charter member of Living Lord Lutheran Church in Howland, Ohio, a homemaker, school secretary for Howland School system, and secretary for the Meals on Wheels program.
She is survived by three daughters, Judy Orinin of Shaker Heights, Wendy (John) Royse of Greenfield, Amy (John) Ford of Hudson; six grandchildren, Rob (Colleen) Cunningham, Courtney Danklefsen, Lindsey (Jeff) Siedel, Scott Royse, Rory (Ashley) Ford, and Devin (Maury Koffman) Ford; 12 great-grandchildren; and several special nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul M. Orinin, on March 18, 1997; three stepbrothers, William, George, and Tom Nielsen; special sister-in-law, Bobbie Orinin Harvey; both parents; and stepmother, Alma Nielsen Keplinger.
Cremation will take place and a private memorial service will be at the convenience of the family.
The Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield is serving the family.
