Kenneth "Red" Hinkle

Kenneth "Red" Hinkle, 69, passed away March 19, 2025.

He was born Jan. 27, 1956 in Cincinnati, to the late Estill and Helen (Wilson) Hinkle.

Red was a man of diverse passions. He loved the thrill of the game, whether it was playing softball with friends or relishing the excitement of a bingo night. His laughter and generous spirit brought light to the lives of those who knew him.

He is survived by his children, Herb (Rebecca) Bowman, Jason (Ann) Hinkle, Lynn (Dale) Cox, Kenya (David) Albrecht and Brittany (Daniel) Bridges; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Danny Martin; a sister, Michelle (Brian) Young; special friend, Marlene Charles; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Trent) Hinkle on March 10, 2017; and a brother, Dean Martin.

Services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 25 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
