Kenneth Lee Hatfield Jr.

Kenneth Lee Hatfield Jr., 59, of Washington Court House, passed away Friday, Aug. 8, 2025 at his home. 

He was born Oct. 17, 1965 in Columbus, a son of the late Kenneth L. and Grace Maxine Seymour Hatfield Sr. 

On August 7, 1985, he married his wife of 40 years, the former Rebecca Conley, and she survives.

Also surviving are their daughter, Tabetha Hatfield of Delaware, Ohio; their three grandchildren, Xavier, Carter and Ethan; his siblings, Danny Lee (Brenda) Hatfield, Sherry Lynn (Gary) Park and Jenny Lanman, all of Chillicothe; as well as his two brothers-in-law, Wayne (Jan) Conley of Piketon and Steven (Kelly) Conley of Frankfort. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one son, Dalton Scott Hatfield.

Kenneth worked as a mechanical engineer for Ohio State Parks at Deer Creek State Park. He enjoyed collecting die-cast cars. His greatest joy was his family, especially his grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the Ebright Funeral Homes, Frankfort. The service will be led by Kenneth’s family, including his brother-in-law, Wayne Conley. 

Following the service, Kenneth’s wishes will be fulfilled and cremation will take place. He will later be buried in Brown’s Chapel Cemetery, Clarksburg. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, Aug. 12 from 6 p.m. until the time of the service.
