Justine “Jerri” Gearhart, 95, of Washington C.H., formerly of Greenfield, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025 at St. Catherine’s Manor in Washington C.H.
 
She was born on May 21, 1929, in Milton, W.Va., the daughter of Joseph and Nettie (Reynolds) Vance.
 
She attended Buckskin Community Church of South Salem and was a homemaker. She had retired from Candle-lite of Leesburg.
 
She is survived by three sons, Michael (Gwen) Snavely of Oil City, Pa., Bruce (Debbie) Snavely of Greenfield and Robert (Dawn) Snavely of Greenfield; and one daughter, Patricia (Ross) Hatfield of Chillicothe; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one sister, Fannie Kriebel of Pennsylvania.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude “Shorty” Gearhart, who passed away May 7, 1987; two granddaughters, Ann Marie Snavely and Nikki Jo Snavely; four brothers, Gene, George, Warren, and Homer Vance; three sisters, Mary Toler, Anna Ware, Mahulda Alford; and both parents.
 
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21 at Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Mark Current officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
 
Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday.
