Judy L. Falk, a beloved sister, wife, and friend, passed away peacefully on Feb. 3, 2026 at the Hospice of Hope in Seaman.

Born on Oct. 12, 1938 in Dayton, Judy lived a life characterized by strength, purpose and dedication. Judy graduated from Germantown High School, class of 1957, and exemplified a strong-willed and polished demeanor throughout her life. She is fondly remembered for her assertive nature, and her classic sophistication blended seamlessly with her old-fashioned values and intentional approach to life.

Judy always left an impression on those she met. Throughout her life, she assisted her late husband, Howard Falk, in various businesses they owned, including ventures in dental devices, printing, and photography. Their marriage, which lasted for an incredible 55 years, began in North Hollywood, Calif., symbolizing a partnership that thrived on love, respect, and shared achievements.

Judy was a member of the Hillsboro Global Methodist Church and was known for her varied and adventurous interests. From snow skiing to traveling and boating, Judy embraced the thrill of life. She also found camaraderie and enjoyment as part of the Single Action Shooting Society, showcased her spirit while motorcycle riding, and cherished the time spent raising horses and dogs.

Her compassionate heart shone brightest through her volunteer work at the local nursing home and food pantry, contributing generously to her community.

Judy is survived by her loving sister, Carole (Don) Emrick; brother-in-law, J. Mark Judy; stepdaughters, Diane, Doreen and Susan; and two step-grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members, all of whom carry her memory in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by family members, including her devoted husband, Howard Falk; her parents, William Walter and Nettie (Penrod) Walter DeMiller; and her sister, Linda Judy.

Friends and family are invited to gather in celebration of Judy’s life. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Feb. 8 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at Arpp, Root, Carter Funeral Home located at 29 N. Main Street, Germantown, Ohio 45327, followed by a funeral service beginning at 2:30 p.m.

My family has been blessed to know Judy, as she was an exceptional friend to my father. She once adopted one of my Springer Spaniel foster dogs through English Springer Rescue America, and I know that pup, Happy, lived a beautiful, well-loved life. Judy will be truly missed, and I send heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.
