Jon D. Horner

Jon D. Horner, 75 of Hillsboro, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2026 at Copper Knoll Health and Rehabilitation in Washington Court House.  

He was born Oct. 19, 1950 in Hillsboro, the son of the late Richard and Laura Helen (Hall) Horner.

He was a member of the Fayette County Church of Christ.  

Jon is survived by his wife, Faith Anne (Mersch) Horner; and four nieces, Laura, Melissa, Nicole and Rachel, as well as several great nieces; and close friends Ray Stephens and Dixie Mootispaw.   

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Tina Jan Talbott.  

In keeping with his wishes, all services and burial in the High Top Cemetery in Samantha will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family.
