Jeffrey Keith Howland

Jeffrey Keith Howland, 64, of Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2025 at Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.
 
He was born Nov. 1, 1960 in Greenfield, the son of Vernon Wendall and Velma Jean (Vince) Howland.
 
He was a 1979 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School and retired from Waddells in 2018 after 32 years of employment. He was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns and enjoyed watching dirt track racing, boating and fishing.
 
He is survived by his companion, Crystal Greene; two daughters, Stacey Liston (Brian Miley) of Peebles and Heather Howland (Tyler Henthorn) of Hillsboro; one son, Chad Howland of Hillsboro; two grandsons, JD Liston and Colton Henthorn; two granddaughters, Allie Liston and Kasey Liston; one brother, Chris (Cindy) Howland of Greenfield; four sisters, Bevalee Howland of New Lebanon, Julie Howland of Greenfield, Amy Howland of Greenfield and Jennifer Howland of New Lebanon; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Rob and Kim Hazlett of Greenfield.
 
He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Howland, on March 10, 2015; and both parents.
 
In accordance with Jeff’s wishes, a private burial will be at the convenience of the family in the Greenfield Cemetery. A celebration of his life will be at a later date.
 
The Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield is serving the family.
