Janice Racheal Armold

Janice Racheal Armold, 89, of Wilmington, passed away Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
  
She was born Sept. 21, 1935 in Clarksville, the daughter of the late Scott Herman and Margie Alice (Sellman) Day.
 
She had worked for Iron's Orchard in Lebanon for over 20 years.
  
Surviving are her daughters, Karen (Dale) Barnett of West Union and Brenda Sullivan of Hillsboro; sons, Don Armold of Morrow and Bryan (Vicki) Armold of Lebanon; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Darlene (Bill) Finley of New Mexico; and a brother, Thomas (Nancy) Day of Cedarville.
 
In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Ray Armold; a brother, Roger Day; and a sister, Betty Day.
 
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 28 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street, Wilmington, with Chaplain Scott Mishler officiating. Interment will follow in the Miami-Corwin Cemetery, Waynesville. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 28 until the time of services.
