Jane Ann Lees, 88, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully at her home Saturday, Oct.8, 2022 with her family by her side.
She was born July 31, 1934 in Plainfield, daughter of the late Bernard Weaver and Madeline McDermott Weaver.
On Sept. 29, 1956 in Coshocton, she married Paul Wesley Lees, who passed away April 26, 2021.
She was a member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church and had worked at many places, including Bob & Carl's in Wilmington.
Surviving are daughters, Magdalene Lees of Wilmington and Pam (Rob) Bills of Martinsville; a son, Tim (Janet) Lees of Cincinnati; eight grandchildren, Sarah (Alfredo) Pedro of Utah, Maria (Rod) Dunlap, Timmy (Jan) Lees, Josh (Maria) Lees, Clare, Maddie and Grace Lees, all of Cincinnati, and U.S. Army Capt. Peter (Audrey) Lees of Columbus, Ga.; 18 great-grandchildren; one brother, Thomas Weaver of Colorado; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Jane was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Vivian Teresa Dunlap; three sisters, Betty Rauch, Mary Lou Rauch and Doris Smith; and one brother, William Weaver.
Prayers will be said at 10:40 a.m. Monday, Oct. 17 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 W. Locust St. at N. Mulberry St., Wilmington, followed by Mass of Christian burial celebrated at St. Columbkille Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Oct. 17 with the Rev. Bernard J. Weldishofer as celebrant.
Interment will follow in the St. John's Cemetery, Cincinnati.
Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16 with a rosary being said at 7 p.m. at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home.
