James Cody Dean Holt, 32, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, Nov. 26, 2022 at home.
He was born June 7, 1990 in Wilmington, the son of Joby and Tiffany (Cox) Holt.
James was a 2009 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School and 2011 graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Institute Culinary School, where he became a chef.
He is survived by one daughter, Carody Anne; one son, Braydon; mother, Tiffany (Cox) Holt of Greenfield; father, Joby Holt of Hillsboro; two sisters, Holley Holt of Greenfield and Madison (Tyler) Cawley of Hillsboro; several nieces and nephews; grandmother, Karen Cox of Greenfield; and lifetime best friend, Tyler Speakman of Greenfield.
He was preceded in death by his aunt, Pamela Stanley; grandfather, James Cox; and stepmother, Johnna Reck.
Cremation will take place, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
The Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield is serving the family.
