Howard "Shorty" Shuster, 80, of South Salem died Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009 at his residence. He was born Jan. 16, 1929 in Lattaville, the son of Lee and Rachel (Scott) Shuster. He is survived by his wife, Ann L. (Fordyce) Shuster, whom he married on June 11, 1950. Also surviving are two sons, Scott (Maria) Shuster of Lattaville and David (Susan) Shuster of Morehead, Ky.; one daughter, Susan Roads of Greenfield; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Bessie Lucas and Clara Caldwell, both of Washington Court House. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Scott Shuster. Services were Aug. 31, 2009 at the Greenfield Church of Christ, with Pastor Bill Requardt, Pastor Wayne Combs and Pastor Joe B. Stewart officiating. Burial was in the South Salem Cemetery. The Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield is serving the family.[[In-content Ad]]
