Geanie Beechler Herman, 81 of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025 at her home.

She was born Oct. 29, 1943 in Ross County, the daughter of the late Ernest E. and Roberta L. "Bobbie" (Kerr) Beechler.

Surviving are three daughters, Debbie Lawwell and husband, Jeff, of Leesburg, Darlene Lowman and Jessica Lanae Simpson and husband, Greg, all of Chillicothe; seven grandchildren, Brandon, Samantha, Ryan, Jevon, Dayna, Zaden and Makhia; two great- grandchildren; a sister, Janet (Dave) Payton; brother, Charlie (Sheila) Beechler; sister-in-law, Connie Beechler; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell B. Herman; her parents; and her brother, Richard. 

A graveside service will be at the convenience of the family in the Bainbridge Cemetery with the Rev. Danny Dodds officiating. No visitation or calling hours will be observed.

The Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home of Bainbridge is serving the family. Memorials may be made to the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.
