Doris Louise Conley, 93, of Chillicothe, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025 at St. Catherine’s Manor of Washington C.H.
 
She was born June 11, 1931 in Portsmouth, the daughter of Rupert and Katherine (Montavon) Spangler.
 
Doris was a 1949 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School and was a 50-year member of the Greenfield Hobby Club. She was a former member of St. Benignus Catholic Church, Ladies Auxiliary, and former Pink Lady volunteer at the Greenfield Hospital.
 
She was a bus driver for 16 years at Greenfield Exempted Village Schools and a homemaker. After retirement she and her husband, Herb, moved to St. Cloud, Fla. for 20 years until their return to Ohio.
 
She is survived by her three children, Charles (Rhonda) Conley of Canton, Mary Conley of Chillicothe and Robert (Teresa) Conley of Circleville; four grandchildren, Ben (Allison) Conley, Katelyn (David) VanDeveer, Chad (Dawnell) Conley and Courtney Weiss; seven great-grandchildren, Annabelle and William Van Deveer, Emma Conley, Riely, Carson, Landon and Grady Weiss; two brothers-in-law, Wilbur Anders of Milledgeville and Larry (Bev) Conley of Georgia; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert J. Conley, on Sept. 13, 2012; one great-grandson, Myer Conley; four brothers, Walter, Charles, Marvin and Jerry Spangler; one infant sister, Patricia; and both parents.  
 
Memorial service will be noon Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Fr. Mike Paraniuk officiating. Burial of cremains will follow in the St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
 
Visitation will be 11 a.m.- noon Saturday at the funeral home.
