Diana Kay Hafer, 79, of Bainbridge, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at home.
 
She was born Aug. 15, 1945 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Paul and Mary Alice (Bainter) Johnson.
 
Diana was retired from Edgewood Manor in Greenfield, where she worked as a housekeeper for 37 years.
 
She is survived by one son, Robert (Mary) Hafer of Bainbridge; three daughters, Mary Kay (Tim) Lyons of Greenfield, Mickey Foster of Bainbridge and Lissa (Floyd) Simmons of South Salem; eight grandchildren, Amanda Hafer, Cassie Lyons, Tim (Erin) Lyons Jr., Britnee Keech, Jeffree Lewis, Codee (Tosha) Lewis, Ashley Vangundy (Zach Atwood), and Ashton Simmons; 30 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild on the way; one sister-in-law, Vicki Holt of South Salem; and several cousins and friends.
 
She was preceded in death by one son, Mike Hafer; one grandson, Bradley Hafer; one great-grandson, Rocky Rutherford; and both of her parents.
 
Funeral service will be 7 p.m. Monday, July 21 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield, with Pastor Scott Faulconer officiating. Cremation will follow.
 
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
